was established in 1931 on the basis of the

Faculty of Economics of Kazan State

University. In 2011 Kazan State Institute of

Economics and Finance merged with Kazan

(Volga Region) Federal University.

Program in Audit and Financial Management is a Master’s Degree Program based on- latest state-regulated educational standards

and- similar to international educational requirements that can help students to gain professional

qualification.To meet these requirements the Program in Audit and Financial Management is designed similar to ACCA Program (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants - ACCA).

The Program is supported by such leading world-renowned companies as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst&Young and KPMG.

Some courses as Audit and Assurance, Financial Management, Financial Reporting are taught in English

Student Business Incubator KFU - voluntary public organization representing the interests of undergraduate and post-graduate students of KFU. Student Business Incubator is a major center for development of entrepreneurial ideas, formation of business skills and social engagement of students of the university.

Objectives of Student Business Incubator KFU - Promotion of undergraduate and graduate students in realization of business ideas and increase their professional knowledge and experience in the field of entrepreneurship;- Creation of high-tech products and their promotion on the market;- Formation of the mechanism to generate a new wave of innovators and entrepreneurs;- Development of KFU scientific schools;- Strengthening the links between Russian and foreign venture capital funds and other entities of the

innovation infrastructure;- Improving the quality of academic staff training on the basis of modern learning technologies and enhancing the practical orientation of the educational process.

1) Practical training and internships. In 2012, 6 people were trained in the department of "Audit of the industrial sector" and 16 people in the department of "Shared services center“

2) Employment of graduates. More than 50 graduates of the institute work in the company. Annual need for graduates of the Institute - 18-20 people.

3) Participation in the educational process. Experts of «PricewaterhouseCoopers» lecture on topical issues of accounting and auditing, conduct master classes.

4) In 2012 «PricewaterhouseCoopers» announced a competition for a scholarship.
