iMovie Tutorial Read through the steps in this tutorial to learn how to:

• Create a new project • Save the project • Import media • Add and format titles • Save and export

To create a new project do the following

1. Create a new project: Open up iMovie and click on the + button, then select Movie.

2. Save the project: to save the iMovie project click on Projects and then type in an appropriate name for the movie.

3. Import media: Click on My Media and then Import Media.

4. Import Media: Select the image that you want to import, you will need to search for this, and then click Import Selected.

5. Import Media: You can now add the picture to your movie. Click and drag it onto the timeline.

6. Add and format titles: Select titles and then the title style as shown below - type the text Borders & Ireland and the UK. You can also edit the title text using the format bar located in the top right corner. Once you have finished formatting the text, click on drag it down onto the timeline as is shown below.

7. Save and export: Click on File and then Share then File. Set the Resolution to 720p and

the quality to Medium. Then make sure that the export name is appropriate, as well as the location – click save.
