Steven GedeonBSc, MSC, MBA, PEng, PE, PhD is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Ted Rogers School of Management and Director of the Ryerson Entrepreneur Institute. He has founded or led over a dozen private, public, venture capital and non-profit organizations. Dr. Gedeon has performed contract research and consulted with over 100 of Canada’s top companies. He is a motivational public speaker on personal leadership, success, goal-setting, skill-development, and best practices in entrepreneurship education with over 100 publications and patents.

Dr. Gedeon has won more than 20 awards including the President’s Award of Teaching Excellence, Experiential Teaching Award, and the USASBE National Award for Entrepreneurial Experiential Education Best Practices. He has broad experience in designing and delivering entrepreneurship curricula, programs, courses, and high-impact workshops in North America and Europe.

Dave ValliereBASc, MEng, MBA, PhD, PEng, is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Ted Rogers School of Management and an inspiring teacher of entrepreneurship and finance, winning prestigious teaching awards at multiple Canadian universities. Dr. Valliere is a top researcher in entrepreneurship, with

particular focus on how entrepreneurship fuels economic growth, and on the individual cognitive psychology necessary to become more entrepreneurial. Prior to joining

academia, Dr. Valliere worked as an entrepreneur, an executive leader and strategist in corporate IT, a venture capitalist, a commercial banker supporting entrepreneurial

new ventures, and a software and telecom engineer in the high-tech sector.

Sean WiseBA, LLB, MBA, PhD, is an Assistant Professor ofEntrepreneurship at Ted Rogers School of Management; host of The Naked Entrepreneur, which debuted on OWN in 2015; and, the past online host and industry advisor for CBC’s Dragons’ Den. Dr. Wise specializes in helping emerging and high growth organizations turn a profit. With 10 years of venture capital to his credit, Dr. Wise has helped found six business ventures of his own, the first at age 16. Wise is a celebrated author, his publications include:
