Existing films

Some of my favourite films which could provide inspiration to my film opening are ‘Goodfellas’ ‘The Godfather’ ‘Taken’ ‘Public Enemies’ and ‘Avatar’.

It is likely that I will decide to create my film opening following the crime genre, as it seems that most of my favourite films fall under this category e.g. The Godfather and Public Enemies. I think that it would be good to create a film opening following this genre, as I feel it will be easy to include a lot of action in a short period of time. It will allow me to get straight into the action and interest the audience. It is likely that I will include a brief scene of violence and perhaps also illegal drug activity in my film opening, in order to establish clearly the genre to the audience. In this case It would seem that I will be looking at age rating my film at either 15 or 18.
