Field of studyThe bioelectronics is a science that study the different electronic components but specific the small electronic components for tiny devices. The need to use the small device was introduced by companies that want to reduce the space and the efficiency of the electronic components.

The bioelectronics applies for the research projects and devices for electronic companies, is a solution for help people and systems in the society.

The bioelectronics study the human body for copy the structures and use the electronics components for substitute things. The principal idea is help people with electronic.

Assignment definition

The project had to make an electronic circuit and test the circuit with electrical devices, in general consist in the rehabilitation of the arm, the device could check the motion and visualize it in the computer with a special software.

Claims for the proyect

The electronic device described here, which we have built and called Proto IMU_BT_1.0is an important step for the technological solution for rehabilitation and virtual motion. The technology consist in the use the software for analyze the motion and the circuit for transmit and process the information

Objective

Our objective was to produce a prototype which consisted of four steps: select the components of circuit, design the circuit with Altium Protel and surface mount of electronic components and process of communication with Proto IMU_BT_1.0.

The scope and limitations of the project

We developed a programming with accelerometer this can sense the motion of arm and the sensor send data to a program on MatLab, and this present the velocity and movements of the arm.

State of the art • The Proto IMU_BT_1.0 is an electronic device that use the microcontroller for

process the information in the gui (application or program in the computer), the image is generated by the computer with a visual program. With the visual program the user can see the motion and the trajectories.

• The first to all, the electronic device is connected in the computer and charge the program, second, the computer process the variables and image, third, the board use the wireless connection and the user put the board in his arm, then, the user move the arm, after that, the board get the degrees and send the information to the computer and finally the computer get the motion.
