Infra Student and Teacher Workshops Thank you for your enquiry about our Infra teacher and student workshops. Bookings for the 17/18 academic year are now open. We require a minimum of 6 weeks notice, from the date your booking form is submitted to the first proposed workshop date. The latest date we can consider for bookings is 29 June 2018. Our Offer

We provide separate half or full day workshops for teachers and students. The workshops offer both students and teachers an opportunity to gain a practical understanding of Wayne McGregor's choreographic process and learn some of the repertoire from Infra.

Teacher Workshops:

What the workshop entails:

Exploring the physical, technical and expressive skills required when performing Infra. Using creative tasks to generate movement material. Learning a short section of Infra repertoire. Exploring different ways of performing material. Opportunities to discuss the features of the production including the work of Julian Opie, Max Richter,

Chris Ekers, Lucy Carter and Moritz Junge.

Cost: Half day workshops (2 hours) = £250 + VATFull day workshops (4 hours) = £350 + VAT

Student Workshops

What the workshop entails:

A short contemporary ballet warm up exploring physical skills. Learning of a short section of Infra repertoire focusing on technical intent and the choreographic

approach and devices used when creating Infra with the Royal Ballet A series of creative tasks that explore Wayne McGregor’s choreographic intent, approaches and

devices used when creating Infra with The Royal Ballet. Opportunities to discuss the features of the production, including the work of Julian Opie, Max

Richter, Chris Ekers and Moritz Junge.

Cost: Half day workshops (2 hours) = £250 + VATFull day workshops (4 hours) = £350 + VAT

Booking Terms and Conditions

Scheduling of both teacher and student workshops is the responsibility of the enquiring party. Location, time, date and participants must be in place before submitting a booking request form.

Bookings are now open for workshops up until 29 June 2018. We require a minimum of 6 weeks notice, from the date your booking form is submitted to the first proposed workshop date.

Please provide a minimum of 2 proposed workshop dates on your booking form. We can accommodate a maximum of 30 students for both half and full day student workshops. If your group exceeds 30 please contact Sam Harding on 0203 772 6291.

A minimum of 6 teachers are required for a teacher workshop session.

The organisation booking the workshop will be fully responsible for health and safety and first aid. A member of staff must be present throughout the workshop and will be ultimately responsible for behavior and discipline of all students taking part in the workshop. The practitioner reserves the right to discontinue teaching if the responsible teacher is not present.

The space selected for a student workshop must be able to accommodate for the number of participants safely and must be suitable for dance.

Next Steps

Once we have received your booking request form we will be in touch to let you know which of our practitioners will be available to attend.

We aim to get in touch within 14 days to confirm whether or not we can secure a practitioner for your booking based on the dates given on your booking form.

At this point you will also receive a booking confirmation document outlining the details of your booking and payment instructions. This document must be signed and returned to us either via email or post to secure your booking.
