The quality design of Miele induction hobsThe clean design of Miele induction hobs is characterised by pure elegance and the wide variety of available finishes:• Flat, onset frame• Narrow, protruding frame• Flush installation• Bevelled glass edges• Basalt grey décor• LightPrint graphics

Pan/pan size recognitionThe cooking zone only heats up when a ferromagnetic pan is placed on it. The size of the pan is recognised within the printed area of the cooking zone. If the pan is removed from the cooking zone, the cooking zone immediately stops working.• Extremely safe• Extremely easy to use• Energy-saving

Automatic heat-upAll of the cooking zones are equipped with the Automatic heat-up function, where the selected zone operates on full power to begin with, and then switches to the continued cooking setting at a reduced level.• Simple operation• Manual heat reduction not necessary

Keep-warm functionA special setting is available to automatically keep cooked food warm at a constant minimum temperature of 65°C• Perfect menu preparation

TimerThe timer is used to select a cooking duration of up to 9.5 hours. Once the set time has elapsed, the cooking zone switches off automatically. The timer can also be used as a minute minder.• Cooking process easily monitored• Simple to programme

* Features vary between models, please consult individual model descriptions.

FlexibilityAll of the cooking zones are vario zones. Depending on the cooking zone, pans with a diameter of 100 to 280 mm, or roasting dishes up to 200 x 300 mm can be used.• Flexibility of being able to use different

sized pans on the same cooking zone

Residual heat indicatorsEach zone has a residual heat indicator, showing if it is still hot.• High level of safety• Protects against burning

System lockDisables the appliance controls.• Prevents the hob from being used

unintentionally, e.g. by children

Safety switch-offHob switches off automatically after a certain time.• Added peace of mind, e.g. if the user has

forgotten to switch the hob off

Spillage protectionThe entire hob switches off automatically if liquids spill over the control area.• Protection in the event of inadvertent

changes to the power level

Overheating protectionProtects the induction coil and the hob by switching off automatically if a zone overheats due to an empty pan being heated.• Added safety

Pan recognitionThe heat will be interrupted if there is no suitable pan on a cooking zone which is switched on or if the pan is unsuitable.• Added safety

Safety lockTouching the safety lock sensor results in the set functions and power levels being locked.• Prevents the settings being changed by

mistake, e.g. by children

* Features vary between models, please consult individual model descriptions.

Convenience Safety

Touch sensor controlsThe various functions and power levels are set by simply touching the appropriate sensor control. The electronics are situated underneath the ceramic glass, leaving a flat, even surface to work on.• Simple operation• Easy to clean and look after

Simply spotlessAs the energy is directed straight to ferromagnetic pan bases, Miele induction hobs are easy to keep clean. At the touch of a button, it is easy to prevent pans from boiling over. Splashes and other soiling are quick to remove, and spillages do not burn on, making cooking a pleasurable experience.

Quality – Made in GermanyMiele has been at the cutting edge of manufacturing the finest

cooktops for more than 30 years. They are a byword in reliability. They undergo rigorous non-stop testing in our test laboratories, simulating an average life of 20 years under normal household use.

* Features vary between models, please consult individual model descriptions.

Maintenance Made in Germany

Induction heatExtremely short heat-up times and very fast responses when changing a setting are guaranteed. The heat is created in the base of the pan, so the ceramic surface keeps relatively cool.• Economical• Fast• Convenient

Fast and economicalCompared to conventional electric cooktops, there are substantial time- and energy savings. Induction cooktops provide an almost gas-like response.• Fast• Economical

Economy

TwinBoosterThe TwinBooster function provides increased energy output for up to 15 minutes. There are 2 booster settings, with the maximum setting providing 3,700 W.• Fast• Very short heat-up times• Convenient
