INDIANA DISTRICT LUTHERAN CHURCH - MISSOURI SYNOD
TEACHERS CONFERENCE2 0 1 7
Dear Educators,
Warm greetings to each of you in the name of Jesus, our Risen Lord and Savior! God’s great peace is yours today through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
The 2017 Indiana District Teachers’ Conference theme is entitled, “It’s Still All About Jesus.”It brings me great joy and excitement to engage with each of you through this outstanding professional development event. Amy and I are eager to participate and learn with you in one of the district’s biggest opportunities for Biblical study, professional and personal growth through the many sectional and collegiality moments this conference affords each of us.
The Indiana District has a rich tradition of Christian education. Two outstanding keynote presenters, a host of sectional topics and presenters to meet the needs of educators at all levels, and time for worship and Bible study give you that needed time to learn and reflect, keeping with that tradition of providing a rich, Christian experience for you to take back into your respective schools and classrooms.
God has blessed the Indiana District with excellent leaders and teachers. It is the hope and prayer of the 2017 Indiana District Teachers’ Conference Committee that you will find this conference to be rewarding and rejuvenating as you continue to rev up for an outstanding school year.
On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, I encourage you to take advantage of this conference and all that it has to offer you.
It is our prayer that God continues to grant you a blessed 2017-2018 academic year.
It is truly a privilege for Amy and me to partner with you in “connecting children to Jesus.”
Enjoy the conference!
Blessings,Jon Mielke, Ed.D.Executive Counselor for Christian EducationSuperintendent, Lutheran Schools of Indiana (IDOE #9230)Indiana District, Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod
