You can also download the form from the ISG website (www.isg.org.in). Dr Ajay Kumar, the President elect, will be the returning officer for the ISG Election 2018. Over past few years, the ISG secretariat, along with active participation of many members have updated the email and phone numbers of members of ISG. Of approximately 2400 registered members, we have valid email IDs of approximately 1500 members. Despite repeated reminders through newsletter, individual letters to members on their postal addresses, we still do not have the email/phone numbers of many members. It was decided in the past General body meeting that ISG should now conduct ISG election using electronic system. As per the decision taken by the general body, the secretariat is preparing the basic infrastructure to hold the election using electronic system. Pre-requisites for the nomination: 1. She/he should be a valid member of ISG. 2. Each nomination should be forwarded and seconded by a Life Member of ISG, along with a signed confirmation by the nominee regarding his willingness for the same. Tenure of the posts: 1. President elect: Over all three years; one year as president elect, next year as president and then one year as past president. 2. Governing Council Member: Total tenure is for three years. Posts for which nominations are invited: 1. President Elect: 1 Post 2. Member of Governing Council: 2 Posts Schedule of the election process: Last date for accepting nomination is September 7, 2018. Kindly also send a brief CV of the nominee not exceeding 200 words. While printing, the CV will be truncated at 200 words.
