What is an Aircraft Carrier ?
An aircraft carrier is
a warship with a full-length flight
deck and facilities for carrying,
arming, deploying, and recovering aircraft, that
serves as a seagoing airbase .

What is a SUBMARINE ?
• A submarine is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater.

World’s first Submarine
• Cornelis Drebbel , a Dutchman build first submarine named “Drebbel”.
• It was made of Wood and steel and could carry one man .
• It was propelled with pedals.

SSN – Attack SUbmarine• These
submarines have short range weapons and equipment to track and hunt other submarines or ships.
• They can be both nuclear or conventional.

SSBN – Ballistic Missile Submarine
• These submarines consists of Ballistic missiles or ICBMs. They remain hidden below the ocean and are stategically used.

Diesel Electric Submarines• There run on Diesel or
Gas turbines and electric batteries.
• They can be with or without AIP.
• They can remain 2-3 days submerged without AIP.

Nuclear Submarines
• Nuclear submarines run by using the nuclear power
• They have a Nuclear reactor on board.
• Their range is unlimited.
