Eulogy• First lived on the Australian continent for 2
million years• 3000 yrs ago mass extinction wiped them out
on the mainland, leaning them only in Tasmania
• 1803 European colonisation saw them being shot or trapped
• Feral dogs and diseases further weakened the population
