• Altar Cloth Missing: The white altar cloth with a 12” lace is missing. It was on the altar for Easter. If you have knowledge of where it is, please return to the sacristy or call Sharon (229-3882).

• Fr. Daniel Fister will preside at Mass on the weekend of July 28/29, with a second collection.

• Look for free resources from Dynamic Catholic in the vestibule the first week of each month. Resources that inspire people to rediscover the genius of Catholicism and to re-energize us as Catholics. For more information contact Carolann Darling 607-351-6668.

• Ministries are a way to allow the Spirit of God to work in us and trough us; pray and consider what you would like to be part of in our parish.

APPRECTIATION CORNER

Are you interested in becoming Catholic? Do you know someone who may be interested? Baptized or un-baptized, if you have not received the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Eucharist, Confirmation), you can begin the life-changing journey toward full membership in the Catholic Church by joining the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program. The RCIA process begins in September 2018 and culminates with full initiation into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 20, 2019

Religious Education and Sacrament Preparation Registration

Attention parents and youth grades K-12

Registrations are now being accepted for our Family Based Religious Education Program, Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8), High School Youth Group (grades 9-12) and for preparation of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. You can register online at http://www.immconch.org/faith-formation/youth-family/ for youth ministry and religious education AND/OR http://www.immconch.org/faith-sacraments/for sacrament preparation. You can also email Rich at [email protected] for registration forms and infor-mation. A registration day and parent meeting will also be held on Sunday, September 9th at noon in Church. We have a lot of GREAT things planned for the coming year including a new format for Family Based Religious Education and Sacra-ment Preparation, a parish event with Steve Angrisano, Cath-olic musician, speaker and storyteller September 23rd-25th, youth/family masses, praise and worship nights, service op-portunities and hopefully a few other new opportunities. I am really looking forward to the coming year with all of you.

Our portrait sessions are scheduled for Friday, August 17th &Saturday, August 18th AND Friday, September 7th & Saturday, September 8th. We hope this fits for families having college age children, before they head off to school.

The Immaculate Conception Parish picnic is set for Sun-day, August 12, 2018 at the Cass Park Pavilion from Noon to around 4 PM.

This will be a dish to pass picnic lunch with the parish providing hot dogs and drinks, so mark your calendars for this social event.

We will need volunteers to help plan and set up and clean up on the day of the picnic. Keep watching the bulletin for further information.
