Magnet plate systems require powerful electric current to build up magnetic energy. Whether a classic material handler or a heavy forklift truck: the vehicles must be mobile in order to transport, sort or separate magnetizable material at scrap yards, recycling facilities and steel mills, for railway projects or at demolition sites.
Powerful and durable generators are therefore the first prerequisite for the functioning of magnet plate systems. The generators can be connected directly to the drive motor of the vehicle, to the hydraulic system of the lifting crane or to a separate drive source in the form of an external diesel engine. Thanks to this diversity “plug & play” solutions are possible for nearly any application requirement.
The technological innovation however, is the electronic control system responsible for the build-up and release of the magnetic energy. State-of-the-art inverter technology ensures that the material can be loaded and unloaded at the touch of a button – via a “man-machine interface” (MMI) that obviously meets all ergonomic requirements. Our iMapla thus operates up to 25 % faster than conventional magnet plate systems.

The iMAPLA System components are pluggable (generator, magnet plate, control, magnet plug, power cable) and easily assembled. The iMAPLA System automatically adjusts itself to different plate sizes and guarantees optimal efficiency at every operating point.
The iMAPLA is designed with intelligent controls for stable and vibration-free belt or hydraulic drive. Various SAE flanges and associated couplings are available for direct drive. iMAPLA QUICK is the ideal solution for demolition companies that need to handle, sort or filter out magnetizable materials. In this case, the generator is re-equipped in the short term. The iMAPLA QUICK tool consists of the generator and electronic controls and is mounted on the heavy duty lifting magnet. It can be connected to the MMI of the machine by cable or wireless connection. In this case, the generator is driven by hydraulics (e.g. hammer hydraulics).
