HOME CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

Following the success of the First, Second and Third International Conferences on StructuralStability and Dynamics held in 2000 (Taipei), 2002 (Singapore), 2005 (Orlando, USA), thisfourth Conference continues to provide an international forum for presentation of recentadvances on various aspects of theories, analyses, experiments and designs related to structuralstability and dynamics. In particular, it will reflect the state-of-the-art of the computationalmethods, software development, networking technologies, new and advanced structural materialsand engineering applications characterized by stability and dynamics features.

HOME CONFERENCE TOPICS

Topics will include (but not limited to): buckling and postbuckling responses static and dynamic stability chaotic dynamics fluid-solid interaction computational methods composite structures damage, fracture, and fatigue structural health monitoring experimental methods novel computational methods geometric & material nonlinearities thin-walled structures nano/micro/meso mechanics earthquakes, winds and impacts nanoscience and technology biomechanics noise and microvibrations active and passive control shock and wave propagation AI and expert systems structural optimization high performance computing

HOMECALL FOR ABSTRACTS &

PAPERS

Authors are invited to submit 1-page abstracts in the aforementioned topics as soon as possible,but not later than the deadline shown below. The abstracts should clearly indicate the aims and

conclusions of the studies. Both abstracts and final papers will be fully reviewed by experts in theareas of structural stability and dynamics and the procedure will conform to the standardsrequired for refereed conference papers. Please note that by submitting a paper, you arecommitting to have at least one author to register for the conference if the paper is accepted.

Selected papers from those presented at the conference will be invited to be peer-reviewed forpublication in:
