Dr. B. V. R. Mohan Reddy is the Founder and Executive Chairman, Cyient Limited.
Cyient is the largest independent exporter of high value research and development
(R&D) services from India. 7 of the top 10 global aerospace companies, 5 of the top 5
global rail companies, 2 of the top 5 global semiconductor companies, 7 of the top 10
heavy equipment companies are Cyient's customers.
Dr. Mohan Reddy was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award by Hyderabad
Management Association (HMA) in 2016. He also received an Honorary Doctorate
from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and Honorary degree
of Doctor of Science from the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Dr. Mohan Reddy's dedicated commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
has made an incredible mark on the lives of many individuals and is an acknowledged
contributor to community, state and nation. Through its “Adopt-a-School” initiative,
Cyient touches the lives of over 10,000 underprivileged children. He is a Member of
Board of Trustees of LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
Dr. Mohan Reddy served as Chairman of NASSCOM (National Association of
Software & Service Companies) for 2015-16, as Vice Chairman during 2014-15. He
has also served as the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII),
Southern Region (2008-09). He is a Founding Director of T-Hub, the largest
incubation centre in India for start-ups by Government of Telangana. He was the
Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIT-Hyderabad and has also been appointed as a
Director on the Board of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and
Member of Court of Governors of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI).
Recently, he has been appointed as Honorary Consul of Federal Republic of Germany
for states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Dr. C. Rangarajan is the Chancellor of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education and
also of Hyderabad Central University. He is currently Chairman, Madras School of
Economics and President, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Dr. C. Rangarajan was
earlier Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister in the rank of
Cabinet Minister. Prior to this, he was Chairman of the Twelfth Finance Commission.
He was Governor of the Reserve Bank of India during 1992-1997 at a time when India
embarked on wide-ranging economic reforms which fundamentally altered the
structure of the Indian economy. After obtaining his Honours Degree from Madras, he
obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. In the United States, he taught
at the Wharton School of Finance & Commerce, University of Pennsylvania and the
Graduate School of Business Administration, New York University. In India, he taught
at Loyola College, Madras, University of Rajasthan, the Indian Statistical Institute, New
Delhi, and for well over a decade and a half, at the Indian Institute of Management,
Ahmedabad.
He was President of the Indian Economic Association in 1988 and President of the
Indian Econometric Society in 1994. He is also the President of the Centenary Year
(2017) of the Indian Economic Association.
Dr. Rangarajan was recipient of several prestigious awards. Notable among them have
been the Honorary Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Alumni
Award for Outstanding Leadership by the Wharton India Economic Forum and the
'Finance Man of the Decade' by the Bombay Management Association. In recognition
of his distinguished service to the country, the government honoured him with Padma
Vibhushan in 2002 (Second Highest Civilian Award).
Dr. M. Govinda Rao, was a Member of the Fourteenth Finance Commission, Government
of India. Currently, he is an Emeritus Professor, National Institute of Public Finance and
Policy, New Delhi. His past positions include Director, National Institute of Public
Finance and Policy, New Delhi (2003-13), Director, Institute for Social and Economic
Change, Bangalore (1998-2002), and Fellow, Research School of Pacic and Asian
Studies, Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. Presently, he is a Member,
Board of Governors, Institute of Economic Growth, New Delhi and Member, of the
Governing Body of Madras School of Economics. He is a Member of Research Advisory
Panel of South Asia Network of Economic Research Institutions (SANEI) and a Member
of the Independent Commission for the Reform of International Corporate Taxation, New
York.
Dr. Govinda Rao has had a number of advisory roles in India and abroad. He was a
Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India (2004-2012),
Member of Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (FSLRC) (2011-13)
Government of India; Member, High Level Expert Committee on Universal Health
Coverage (2011); Member, High Level Expert Committee on Efcient Management of
Public Expenditure (2011-12); Member, Advisory Group of Eminent Persons to Advise
the Finance Minister on G-20 matters (2011-12); Chairman, Expert Group on Taxation of
Services (2001-02), Chairman, Expert Committee on VAT Compensation (2004). He
has been a Consultant to the World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, UNDP, UN
(ESCAP) on matters relating to scal decentralization and federalism, tax policy and
reforms and expenditure management in a number of countries.
Dr. Govinda Rao has done extensive research on various aspects of public nance and
development. He has authored 19 books and monographs and over 120 research
articles in refereed journals. His most recent publications include Growth and
Development Performance of States in India (co-author: Arvind Panagariya; Oxford,
2014) and Making Miracles in Indian States (co-editor:Arvind Panagariya; Oxford,
2015). His other engagements include, Councilor, Takshashila Institution, Senior
Advisor, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP and Chief Economic Adviser, Brickwork
Ratings. He is also a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the National Council of Applied
Economic Research, New Delhi.
