 Developed to:

•improve reference and research library resources and services

•provide a means for interlibrary cooperative plans and services  

•regional multi-type library agency providing support and services necessary

•service is provided to libraries in the seven counties of Northern New York

•founded in 1965 by the NY State Regents

•NNYLN maintains and supports ICEPAC

•ICEPAC is the North Country's cooperative online catalog

•Intended for patrons of any age capable of using the system

•Contains the holdings information of 305 libraries in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and St. Lawrence counties, including school, academic, public, hospital, and special libraries.

• Accessible from any computer

• Can’t order multiple copies of any materials

• Intimidating for the first time user

• Waiting time for item can vary and can take up to two weeks in some cases
