a regional average of 12 calendar months between inspections

Airport holding an AOC that has been placed in an inactive status

Cycle deemed appropriate by the regional Airports Division (surveillance inspections)

FREQUENCY OF PERIODIC INSPECTIONS

Shortening the time between inspections is permitted to accommodate Geographic proximity

Operational need

Extending inspection cycles requires coordination with AAS-300

1. Determine the frequency and type of inspection

2. For a periodic inspection, check file for previous inspection date

3. For existing certificated airports, select a date based on previous inspection date
