IAAP TASK FORCE ON TERRORISM AND PEACE BUILDING ACTIVITIES (October 2018)

Task Force on terrorism and peace building collaborators have collaborated with oral

presentations at the XII International congress of Spanish society of stress and anxiety

(SEAS) at Valencia (SPAIN). We have developed a specifically Task Force

Symposium named “Catastrophes and terrorism from an international

perspective: initiatives and projects” addressed by Rocío Fausor, coordinator of

this Task Force on Terrorism and Peace Building.

Pedro Altungy. President of IAAP Division 15, explained the project in which this

Division of student and the Task Force on terrorism and peace building are involve:

training courses every week at Complutese University of Madrid about terrorism and

its consequences and the development of peace. Every student is invited to join us!!

Task Force collaborators, Pedro Altungy, Belen Reguera, Roberto Navarro, Sara

Liébana, Andrea García de Marina, Jose Manuel Sanchez and Rocio Fausor have

been continue working to assess and to provide treatment to all the victims of terrorism

who need it around Spain. This program is a University Complutense attention

program in which the Task Force on terrorism and peace building collaborators are

involved. The regions visited along the past month have been in Jaen and Cordoba.

Future activities:

Maria Paz Garcia-Vera Chair of the Task Force on Terrorism and Peace Building, will

participate in the 4th International Congress of Clinical and Health Psychology on

Children and Adolescents. The conference will be November 15-17th, 2018 in Mallorca,

Rocio Fausor, Coordinator of the Task Force, and other Task Force collaborators,

Jesús Sanz, Roberto Navarro, will participate in the Annual Conference of the Spanish

Society of Clinical and Health Psychology (SEPCyS). The conference will be
