Structure & Governance

Summary

o Partnership established as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

o 28 participating schools are “Members” – subject to payment of £10k annual subscription.

o Membership open to Bradford secondary schools initially.

o Members elect three “Directors” to develop and run the Partnership on a two year commitment: Chair, Vice Chair and Chief Executive. Directors must be serving headteachers/principals.

Successes in Our First 18 months

o We have halved the gap between Bradford and the national average

o No surprises: all Bradford Partnership judgements upheld by subsequent Ofsted inspections.

o No Bradford secondary schools in Special Measures for the first time in over a decade.

o We have doubled the number of schools judged Good or Outstanding from 7 to 14 out of a total of 28.
