I. How To Create New Google Image API Key in VidcuratorFx2

Step 1-Enter this URL- https://console.developers.google.com/ in your address bar

where you will get this login window.

Step 2-Enter you Google credentials and Sign in.

Step 3-Upon signing in you will get this page,Check with the updated terms of service

and click on accept.

Step 4-Select a project if you don’t have any project then create one.

It will take a moment to create.

Step 4-When a project is created Click on “Enable APIS and Services”.

Step 5- You will get the welcome page of new API Library

Step 6- Search for “custom search” in the search bar and select custom search API

Step 7-Click on Enable button

Step 8-Upon enable, to use this API you need credentials

Step 9-Click create credentials to get started

Step 10-Choose API Key Option

Step 11-On the next page you can check your created API key. You will be using

this API key in Vidcuratorfx2 application.

II. How To Create Custom Search Engine Id(CX ID)

Step 1- In order to create custom search engine, enter this URL-

http://cse.google.com/ in your address bar. Where you will get the below page you

need to click on “Create a custom search engine” tab

Step 2-Upon clicking on create custom search engine it will take you to next page

.Where in Sites to search bar you need to enter your own domain name or else enter

www.google.com.

Step 3-For example proceeding with ww.google.com ,next Choose your

desired Language

Step 4-Name your search engine and Click on “Create” tab

Step 5-Upon Clicking on Create you will get confirmation message.Click on

“control panel” tab.

Step 6-Upon clicking on control pannel you will get the next page where

you need to change option from-

Search only included sites to Search entire web emphasize included sites.

The changes will be saved

Step 7-To know your search engine click on “Search engine ID” tab.You

can copy paste this ID in Google Image Search Cx field in Vidcuratorfx2

III. How to use Google Image API in VidcuratorFx2

Step 1-Upon login in Vidcuratorfx2 Application click on Navigation bar

“User Log Tab” present on the top right corner and click on Google Image Api from the

drop down.

Step 2- Upon clicking on “Google Image Api” you will get a new window where you

need to click on “Add New Google Image Api”

Step 3- You need to enter App Name,API Key ,Google Image Search CX and click

on “Connect App”tab

You will be notified Google Image API Saved successfully
