12O36 (VIV O)6][(OH)9]·11H2O are hydrothermallygrown from a mixture of (NH4)2MoS4, NH4VO3, NaOH, NH2OH·HCl in H2O(stainless steel reactor, 190 ◦C, 25 h, 25% yield). Single crystal XRD reveals thatthe compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4/mnc with Z = 2.Its structure contains a discrete six-capped Keggin-type [(VV O4)MoV I
12O36
