Management (HITAM) was established in 2001

as Royal College of Engineering at Medak.

HITAM focuses on qualitative education in

the field of Engineering and Management.

“ Leveraging technology for a better tomorrow”-Anonymous

The IEEE Student Branch (IEEE SB), HITAM grandly celebrated the IEEE Day on 1st Oct,2019. This

event was conducted on “Membership Development”. The chief guest for this event was Mr. SaiKumar

Tara, chairman IEEE of Hyderabad. He enlightened the students by explaining professional skills which

required these present working environment. The whole session turned out to be quite informative. His

words instilled motivation and inspiration among the young engineers.

EPICS, HITAM in collaboration with IIT BOMBAY organized Student Solar

Ambassador Workshop On 2nd October, 2019. The objective of this was to follow

“The Gandhian principles of self-sufficiency for sustainable environment". In this

event Students and Faculty played the role of solar ambassadors. They also pledged

towards the million efforts in the mitigation of global warming.

Fit India –plogging Run

As part of Swachh Bharat Mission in India, HITAM fraternity conducted a

program on Fit India –plogging Run On 2nd October, 2019. The program was

conducted in response to the call given by our Honorable Prime Minister, Sri

Narendra Modi. The program was started by picking up the litter on the road.

On account of this program, Principal Dr. J. Shiva Kumar addressed the

students on the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and plastic free.

He also emphasized the significance of jogging for keeping our body fit. The

people of Gowdavelli village who witnessed the program appreciated HITAM

fraternity for creating such cognitive awareness towards their social

responsibilities .

Engineers without Borders StudentBranch(EWBSB)

“Design is not how it looks like and feels like.

EPICS,HITAM organized a one day workshop on “Engineers Without

Borders Students Branch”. The objective of this chapter was to inform the

students about the benefits of WEBSB towards becoming the global leaders. The

Indian director EWB, Dr.Shaukat Ali was the chief guest for this event. He

introduced briefly about taking up society based engineering projects and work

for sustainablesolutions.

On 5th October 2019, H&S Dept, HITAM organized "workshop on Human Values" . The

chief guest for the program was Dr.Pradeep Ramancherla, Professor of civil engineering

from IIIT, Hyderabad. This workshop was attended by all the teaching and non-teaching staff

of HITAM. The speaker enlightened the gathering on deriving happiness through self

contentment. He added that the solution for the conflicts of human being is to introspect ones’

own personality. It helps in finding various resolutions to maintain balance in personal and

professional life. Thus, one can develop good intrapersonal and inter- personal relationships.

It dealt with 24Hrs IOT Hackathon was to

create an operating product by the end of the

workshop. Hackathon tends to have a

Specific focus which includes “DOING

ENGINEERING” on Node M C U. The

program highlighted various sensors like soil

moisture, IR, pulse, gas and how to write

graphical coding using tuniot. It also briefs

creating account in Blink and accessing,

uploading data to Blink server. Further it

shows how to create account in think speak

and uploading data to or assessing data from

thinkspeak server. Participants supposed to

design working model on assigned projects

HITAM takes immense pleasure to announce its students' projects have been selected for

'Telangana State Innovation Cell project expo' which was held on 15th August , 2019 in

Hyderabad. Among the three selected projects, “Solar pool skimmer" was selected as the best

innovative project. It was designed by Alankar 3rd Mech, and Rahil 2nd ECE. For this

achievement they received the best innovative award from Sri K.Taraka Ramarao honorable

minister of Telangana at Hyderabad International ConventionCenter (HICC).

National Institute Of Rural Development Panchayat Raj (NIRDPR)

It is a proud moment to announce that the First year students of HITAM(2019-20), actively

participated in Rural Innovation Startup Conclave, held at NIRDPR Hyderabad. In this

program, HITAM students won 3rd prize in the category of RIDE’s Poster challenge

competition Principal and staff appreciated their achievement.
