Environmentalimpact
• The CO2 emissions for producing the quantity of enzyme required todigest 1 g of protein are ~100 times less than of NaOh.
• Aeris coil cleaner can be used at many lower concentrations thanequivalent alkaline formulations further reducing environmentalimpact due to transportation and packaging costs.
• Ecotoxicity to soils and marine environment of alkaline detergents andtheir ingredients (ecotoxic chelates, corrosion inhibitors) causessubstantial restrictions on their disposal.
• Sodium hydroxide used in alkaline detergents is produced via thechloralkaline process, with high energy consumption (and CO2 emissions)
Process • Whilst cost per cycle appears similar between Aeris and Alkalinecleaners, Aeris requires one cycle where leading Alkaline cleaningrecommend up to 5 cycles
• Foaming Alkaline recommends that it should not be rinsed off. Anyfunction that would kill bacteria and not be removed by rinsing wouldhave mycotoxins dislodged and enter into the air stream and surfacesthroughout the equipment and area the unit serves. Mycotoxins arecarcinogenic
• Independent laboratory tests conducted for 5 commercially available cleaners.
Results
• Aeris Enzyme technology had fastest digestion time (3 min, 5 sec) vs other cleaners (>+24hr)
• Other alkaline cleaners showed negligible enzyme activity in the neat formulation.
Conclusion
• Cleaning of biofilms are achieved much faster using enzymatic cleaners versus alkaline detergent cleaners.
• Enzymatic cleaners also have improved safety and OH&S vs corrosive alkaline cleaners.

The heat resistance of a polymer film is
somewhat indicative of its longevity.
Aeriscoat shows minimal discoloration
after
its high temperature cure or after further
heating to 200oC or further heating to
400ºC.

• Most anti corrosion coatings that are applied to assets such as air
conditioners or heat exchange plant are applied at the point of
manufacture and require an oven baked process, which is both time
and process expensive.
• The typical application of these coatings requires a complete strip
down of existing units with components then shipping to external

facilities and applicators.
