Efficiency.Over the years our engines have become easier to start. Smart Start enables the machines to start quickly with minimum effort. Our engines have high power output even under heavy load and lower rpms. And the power to weight ratio has increased, providing higher cutting capacity.

Environment.Fuel-efficient engines with significantly lower emissions. With the X-Torq engine technology, fuel consumption is reduced by up to 20 % and emissions by up to 75 % while increasing power. Biodegradable vegetable based chain oil is also available.

Ergonomics.Excellent ergonomics and power-to-weight ratio makes for easier handling. The Husqvarna Low Vib absorbs vibrations. The angled front handle, the distance between the handles and the slim saw body plus low weight, high centre of gravity makes our saws easy and less tiring to work with.

Safety.The chain brake helps stop the chain in the event of a kickback. The brake is usually triggered by the inertia forces and by the left hand. For extra protection we have developed the TrioBrake™ system that also can be triggered by the right hand.

Reach greater profitability with our professional pole saws.Reach, balance and performance for professional tree care achieved through smart technological solutions, outstanding ergonomics and high durability. The Husqvarna 327P5X also features a detachable shaft that facilitates easy transport and storage, together with the new innovative Balance Flex ™ harness. The vibration-damped, compact cutting head offers excellent conditions for work in dense vegetation.

The location of the engine provides good balance and a comfortable working position while directing the exhaust fumes away from the user. The rear-impact guard protects the engine from wear and damage. In addition, the Husqvarna 327PT5S offers an adjustable tube to provide greater flexibility when working with different heights.

Our range of tree care saws contains two models that are very easy to handle thanks to their well-balanced body and high power-to-weight ratio. The low weight and slim design makes them perfect to operate from a sky lift. Features include Low Vib and a vibration-dampening carburettor to reduce the strain and enable the user to work longer.

The T435 is equipped with X-Torq engine technology, which increases power at lower rpms, with less emissions and fuel consumption. Why should I choose a Husqvarna chainsaw?There are two main reasons: Quality and service. Husqvarna has manufactured chainsaws for commercial use since 1959 and is one of the world’s leading chainsaw manufacturers. Obviously this also benefits you when you buy a chainsaw for use around the home. Our products are sold only at qualified dealers by knowledgeable staff, who can help you select the right machine.

How do I learn to use a chainsaw properly?The fundamentals of cutting techniques, safety and maintenance can be studied in the manual of your Husqvarna chainsaw and in various instruction books or films, like the ones offered by Husqvarna. Practical competence requires practice, and you might consider taking a course.

Can I use any chain oil?Yes, provided it’s a saw chain oil of good quality, preferably biodegradable. Never use waste oil. To maximise the life of the saw bar and chain we recommend our own vegetable-based saw chain oil, optimised for Husqvarna’s chainsaws.

I have heard about TrioBrake™. What is that?TrioBrake™ is a unique system developed by Husqvarna to increase the safety of our chainsaws. With TrioBrake™, in e.g. the event of a kickback the chain brake can be activated in three ways: by inertia and by the user’s right or left hand wrists. TrioBrake™ also enhances safer operation of the machine in a more ergonomic fashion, with less strain on the body.

How do I choose the right chainsaw?You should first consider how often you will use the saw and what you will use it for. For instance, if you occasionally cut firewood and fell a few trees around your home, you may prefer a domestic saw like the Husqvarna 240 e, or an all-round chainsaw like the Husqvarna 435 e.

What protective equipment do I need to operate a chainsaw?You should never operate a chainsaw without protective trousers with chainsaw protection, a helmet with visor and hearing protection, boots with chainsaw protection and gloves. You should also carry a first aid kit and preferably a mobile phone.

When should I file the chain? Can I do it myself?A sharp chain chews through the wood effortlessly, producing coarse sawdust. A dull chain produces wood dust. A rule of thumb is to file the chain each time you refuel the chainsaw. You can do it yourself – easiest is to use a Husqvarna file kit.

What type of fuel should I use in a Husqvarna chainsaw?Husqvarna chainsaws should always be run on a mixture of petrol and good-quality two-stroke oil. If you use Husqvarna’s two-stroke oil, which is optimised for Husqvarna’s engines, a 2 % mixture is sufficient. Ready mixed fuel is also available from Husqvarna. Ask your dealer for advice.
