Hungry Pandas Doubling Activity Challenge children to solve problems including doubling using this fun, panda-themed doubling activity. You will need: • Hungry Pandas Posters • Bamboo Number Cards • Green pencils or crayons Activity Explain that Mummy Panda is collecting some bamboo sticks for her panda cubs. Each Hungry Panda Poster shows a different meal or snack time and how many bamboo sticks the baby pandas would each like to eat. Children need to pick the Bamboo Number Card which shows the doubled number of bamboo sticks. The extra challenge is that one card is missing – children need to draw the correct number of bamboo sticks on to the blank card.
