Essential Learning Activities and Discretionary Learning Activities

Essential learning activities are mandatory and must be complete by every student to pass the subject

Discretionary learning activities recognise the individual learner and available for use at the discretion of the user and created so every student can be challenged

As the year progresses you will be given more and more discretionary power and ultimately take control of your learning

Random Checks

This means that anytime you may be required to show your pre-lesson work, essential and Discretionary learning activities !Because of this is it crucial that you always have your pre-lesson work and learning activities readily available for checking !Not having your book/computer etc is NOT an excuse and it will be assumed you have not completed the work

If you are absent you will be required to present the required work in your own time. DO NOT wait for the teacher to ask.
