The Challenge

After interviewing 53 students, we found that there were a few challenges that HDCS was facing.

1. Only 28% of students interviewed knew that HDCS is in the College of Technology

2. HDCS is lacking a social media presence

3. Rather than looking for management opportunities or a career in technology, 66% of students interviewed said they are looking for a career that alligns with their interests/passions

This made our team question:

How do we make students understand that a degree from the Human Development and Consumer Sciences Department can prepare you for a career in the industry you love?
