5. Installation Steps

Where to get Air hotels extension?

You can download a copy of Air hotels from the client area of our website: http://www.apptha.com/category/extension/Magento/

6. Configuring Air hotels

a.)Installing the downloaded files is quite simple.

b.)Login to your Magento website Administration area

c.)Go to

Systems -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager ->Direct package file upload

d.)Select the download package .zip and click Upload File and install.

Now, the Air hotels extension is installed successfully on your magento package .Once you complete the installation you need to log out your admin to for “Access Denied” message. To set the order processing fee, Commission fee , follow us links ,e.t.c .Go to

Login To admin-> System->Configuration->Air hotels Configuration

Note: → Admin needs to add the Order processing Fee, Commission Fee and Admin email id for Order status reminder which are the mandatory fields.

→ Front end block Configuration setting will be shown for Classic and Modish theme only. → Guest booking was not allowed for booking the property. To Disable the Guest checkout goto

System->Configuration -> Checkout -> Check Out Option-> Allow Guest Checkout as “No” ->Save

a.) Social Connection : Footer Follow us links for Facebook , LinkedIn and Twitter. This will be available for classic and Modish theme

b.)Airhotels Configuration:

1.)Order Processing fee : Processing fee charged per night on booking property in (%),taken by admin from customer is a required field for calculating processing fee .

2.)Commission fee : Commission fee charged per night on booking property in (%),taken by admin from hoster is a required field for calculating commission base order subtotal.

c.)Front end configuration:

Block1 title: Display the first section title in home page

Block1 URL key: Link to the URL key (Ex. how-it-works)

Block1 image: Display the image in first section

Block2 title: Display the first section title in home page

Block2 Embed code: Place your video embed code to display when the user click this section

Block2 image: Display the image in second section

Block3 title: Display the third section title in home page

Block3 Embed code: Link to the URL key (Ex. Blog)

Block3 image: Display the image in third section



d.)Price Slider Search : Range Start : You need to enter the value that should fall in between Min and Max Price→ Minimum Price : Starting price of the price slider→ maximum Price : Ending price of the price slider→



e.)Template for Refund Customer When admin refunds to any of the customer, admin will update and send email to the property owner .

f.)Order Status Email Remainder: You need to add the admin Email id , for knowing the order status email for every order .

7. Air hotels theme settings:

To change the Air hotels theme, go to System -> Configuration->Design->Themes->Enter the theme name for Default → Click on the Save Config Button



8.Air hotels front end view: The following are the front end features of air hotels:

a.)Adding the new property by clicking on “Add your Space” button

b.)Calender for adding the special price for special days and block the dates c.)View the booking history Details d.)Current ,Upcoming and Previous Trip Details e.)My Listing

Other than this, you can see some of the additional features in the Stylish theme, profile view page, My wish list page, Most popular page .

8.1. Property Description : Property detailed description page with description, photos, google embedded maps, calendar, amenity, house rules and reviews. The users can check the available space for a specified period by entering the check in and checkout days and book the space.

8.2 Calendar : → Users can check the available dates of their selected property and book.



Host ( i.e, property owner ) can add special price for the special dates and block dates .→

8.3Image gallery:

Host can Upload their property images and set as album cover from the image gallery.



8.4 Adding new property : Registered customers can create their own property listing with details such as property type, room type, descriptions, rules, available amenities, meta information etc.



8.5 Your Listing : Host can manage their property listing and booking history, add images, enable or

disable preview, edit, gallery, calendar and review list options.

8.6 Manage Property Review : Host can manage user-review about the space with enable/disable option in the front

end.



9. How to edit the Attributes in admin : The following was the list of attributes that gets showed in the Add your space form

Now ,we will see how to edit attributes . Let us take the attribute “propertytype”,in this attribute by default we can see three option in the drop down list as you seen below.

Now we want to add the another option in the select drop down list ,here are steps to be followed:

1.)Go to admin ->Login ->Catalog->Attributes->Click on the Manage Attributes

Then list of the attributes will be shown in the Grid .



2.)Enter the Attributes Code

For Example we will enter the attribute code “propertytype” in the text field and click on The search button the you see the below result.

3.)Click on the row ,then on the left side you can find the Manage label/option click on that tab. 4.) Under the “Manage Options (values of your attribute) ” ,Click on the “Add Option ” button then it will add new row .

5.)Enter your label name under the Admin View & Default View text box and click on the Save button.

Like above you can edit the following : privacy,pets,cancelpolicy ,bedtype and amenity .

10 .Language Translation Instruction : Suppose you are using multi language / single language other than English, kindly follow the below mentioned instruction:

For example :In the Airhotels.csv files you need to add the translated text like below. Now If you translate the word for example ,"Thanks for recommending product(s) to your friends.", " Deja inregistrat? Click aici pentru a Intra" put the translated text in the right side of the original text which is in English, you need to do the same for each and every text in english to your language.->app/locale/YOUR LANGUAGE FOLDER/Airhotels .csv

11. Known Issue In Magento :

“Access Denied” in Administration

Panel

If you come across “Access Denied” message

when trying to access the Air hotels

configuration page in admin after installation,

please follow the below steps:

Go to Admin->System->Cache Management,

clear the cache and logout.

Login again to your admin panel after clearing

your browser cache.

service temporarily unavailable delete the following file from your /magentofolder/ maintenance.flag
