Our Services:

HP ENGINEERING offers for every project, according to the availability of base information

from the Client, all the site visits and surveys that are necessary, either for Conceptual, Basic, or Detail

Engineering.

A) Conceptual and Basic Engineering

Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil - Structural and Earthworks, valued and including the investment

cost at Conceptual level (±30 %) or Basic level (±15 %).

HP ENGINEERING, has competent professionals for mining facilities development with 3D

Models, who have participated in the biggest projects of this type developed in Chile, feasibility or

pre-feasibility studies up to basic engineering are developed in Microstation (non-intelligent) and the

detail engineering are developed in PDS (intelligent), which include all the information from Suppliers

(vendor drawings) and the details designed in the different disciplines.

Our professionals are widely experienced in specialized works for Engineering Design, setting




up complex numerical models, applied to calculate, optimise and design the most varied mechanical,

structural or civil systems. This applies to existing systems to verify, check reinforcement, redesign or

increase capacity, and for new systems that can be designed following the particular needs of every

Client.

Thanks to numerical models, it is possible to develop from a static linear analysis, up to a

dynamic analysis that includes non-linear effects (geometric and constitutive). At the beginning of

detail engineering projects we work associated with soils laboratories and topography teams in order to

issue soils mechanics reports, boring test, explorations and topography.

Numerical model of Stacker (Finite Elements Method, SAP2000 and ANSYS), global model and its sub-elements

shaped with major precision.

During construction, HP Engineering develops the following services:

HP ENGINEERING offers a complete support service to every expansion or upgrade project

for each of its stages, from the economic and financial evaluation in the initial studies of these projects

(Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Studies), to the Detailed Cost Estimate of the investment, once the

engineering detail is completed.

These economic and financial evaluations involve the determination of the initial investment, cash

flows, Cost of Credits, VAN, etc.

We also perform counterpart engineering, to represent the Clients with other companies of engineering

in the review and approval of basic and detailed engineering and in this way achieve their projects

goals.

HP ENGINEERING has a team of engineers with vast experience, which allows them to

perform counterpart engineering with the experience of having executed projects that have already

been proved in the country and therefore offer a high level service.

The whole staff, professional and technical personnel, are widely experienced in each of the

matters of their specialty, with background of having executed projects of facilities already in

operation within the country in order to give a solid and serious support to our Clients to solve their

problems in a safely manner. In order to deliver a specialized and high-level service, the company has

been organized in three functional areas. These areas are: the Technical and Operations Area, the

Administration and Finance Area that manage the resources that offer financial, human and logistic

support for every project, and the Commercial Area that develops expansion plans and sales.
