How to remove a negative review on a Facebook

Option 1Report it to Facebook.

HOW?

STEP 1Go to the Review and click the downward arrow.

STEP 2Click “I don’t like this review” and follow onscreen instructions.

WarningYou can only remove star ratings

that include reviews.

Option 2Don’t Show Rating and Reviews

on your PageMy reviews have been removed. Go Spam

another Page!

HOW?

STEP 1Go to your Page and click the About link.

STEP 2Click the Page Info in the Left Column

STEP 3Hover over address and click Edit

STEP 4Uncheck the box below

STEP 5Hit Save Changes

CommentaryI’m a big fan of Reviews. I have always believed that most consumers believe what other people say. If you provide excellent service 99% of the time, do not let one negative rating cause you to shut down this section. However, you must answer the person directly. If the person has never been a client, message them privately and inquire about it – was it an article or a posts that I wrote? Did you not agree? Or, simply ask them to remove the review.

If all of this fails, I recommend that you respond to the review on your Page. NEVER let a negative review go unanswered.
