How to Make Kaleidoscope Pictures You will need : 8 identical pictures or photographs stacked together. a bowl the size of the finished kaleidoscope. paper, pen, scissors, glue Instructions : 1. Draw around the bowl and cut out the circle. This will be the size of your finished kaleidoscope. 2. Fold the circle in half and cut along the fold. 3. Repeat this folding and cutting twice more so you have a template an eighth of a circle. 4. Place the template on your stack of pictures and choose a spot to cut out. Look for dramatic lines or a strong design element. 5. Cut out the template shape from all the pictures together. You should now have eight identical pieces. (Note: You may like to play with this idea by making 2 sets of 4 identical pieces – see my finished kaleidoscope.) 6. Glue down you eight pieces to make a circle. Good Luck with your Kaleidoscopes! How to Make Kaleidoscope Pictures
