How to Host a Photo Décor Kit Class

The Photo Décor Kit is the PERFECT social craft activity to do over a glass of

wine or coffee, it’s easy for people who are new to paper craft and fun for people of all ages.

This Class Is Perfect For:

• People looking for a fun, fast, easy social activity with friends or family. • Daughters who want to create a lovely gift, or bring Mom to a class, for

with a thoughtful note on the back. Tip: split up kits between kids so they have one frame each to create.

• A beginner who’d like to start printing photos and create an easy craft project they can be proud of.

Ideas For Sharing The Photo Décor Kit Class:

• Phone everyone you know to ask if they know anyone who fits the description of any of the above. Reach out to anyone they refer to invite them to book a class.

• Add this class into a crop event as an extra activity for those interested. Ask those who participate to book their own class or refer a class host.

• Offer a fun night out for your friends, family, work colleagues, neighbors, customers to attend.

• Offer a lunch time activity for office workers, or after-school activity for teachers!

Photo Décor Kit Class Event:

• Aim for 5-10 guests.

• Class fee: Your class fee for each guest should cover the cost of the

supplies you provide each guest and any additional things you offer, including refreshments and your time. Also factor in any venue costs when applicable.

• Class Duration: 30-minute to 1 hour class duration is ideal. Perfect for a week night.

• Provide each guest with a Photo Décor Kit (or one frame and coordinating decorative supplies each.)

• Provide your adhesives for guests to share. • Guests only need to bring 3 photos (or 1 photo if they’re only creating 1

frame.) • This is a fun social event, set out some wine, cheese and crackers or

coffee and cookies for guests to enjoy!

Event Planning Check List: � Determine if you will host or a friend will host the class. � Set a date and time. � Determine your location and reserve it if you need to (home, restaurant,

wine bar, coffee house, work lunch room etc) � Order enough materials to provide each guest with a Photo Décor Kit. � Use the instructions included in the Photo Décor Kits. � Print information about other classes you offer for guests to book into. � If your budget allows, purchase products such as Card Kits, Happy

Album and Fast2Fab for a product display. Host This Class as a Party: Parties are the perfect way to meet new people who may or may not have scrapbooked before. No experience is needed. You can host your own class or invite a friend to do so. How to invite someone to host: If you have a friend who is interested in memory keeping and might like to earn a free gift, ask her to host her own class party at her home; all she needs is a minimum four guests and she’ll get a gift from you! Hosts will enjoy a social night with friends while completing a fun craft project in their own home.

• Ask your host to hold the class at her home and invite her friends. • Choose a date within the next 2-3 weeks.

• Offer your host a free gift at her event. See the Gifts category under

Advisor Exclusives. • For invitations, you or your host can use the postcards found on the

Advisor HQ>My Resources page, or email or phone guests to invite them. You can also create a Facebook Event to invite guests and receive their RSVPs. Always follow up via phone with your host and/or guests to confirm the final guest count closer to the event date.

• Give your host Catalogs to encourage orders from anyone who can’t make it.

• To increase sales at the class, offer the host an additional free gift (from Advisor Exclusives>Gifts on the website) when sales at the class reach a certain amount, and always share any current promos.

At the Class:

• Arrive early to set up the class supplies and a product display • Your product display could include examples of completed cards,

Fast2Fab™ pages, a Happy Album, Fold-Over Page Recipe and/or Project Recipes™, all featuring currently available CM products.

• Greet the guests and share why you love Creative Memories and scrapbooking your memories.

• Show a completed Photo Décor Kit, talk through the instructions, hand out the Photo Décor Kits and help the guests make their frames.

• Explain how they can display their frame now and later add it to a scrapbook album, and that you can help them with that if they’re totally new to scrapbooking,

• Provide a What’s New Flyer and other class options to each guest, explain the class options available (e.g., Card Kit, Fold-Over Page Recipe, Project Recipes™, Welcome Baby Page Recipe).

• Offer to take orders for the supplies they’ll need to create another project or start a scrapbook album.

• Provide a workshop schedule to each guest and invite them to attend an upcoming workshop or book their own class..
