9.30 - 10.10 Joost van Loon: Publishing in Transdisciplinary Peer-Reviewed Journals: The

Case of Space and Culture

Joost van Loon holds the chair of General Sociology and Sociological theory at the Catholic

University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Since 2007, he is editor-in-chief of the journal Space and

Culture. His research interests include media, science, technology, religion and risk.

Anna Lisa Tota is Full professor in Cultural Sociology at the university Rome IIiI. Her last

publication is the routledge international handbook of memory studies coedited with Trever

Hagen

Peter Mayo is Professor at the University of Malta, a prolific internationally published author

and co-editor of the Postcolonial Directions in Education journal. He is Editor of book series

for Brill-Sense, Palgrave-Macmillan and Bloomsbury Academic.
