2. Pick a new set of colors from the standard color palette to create a custom concrete tile: You may have found a design you like, but decide you want a different set of colors from the one on the screen. Experiment with the customization tool in the Interactive Echo Collection Catalog to see if you can find the right combination using our 32 Standard Colors. Since screen colors are never the same as the real thing, we offer an Echo Collection Deluxe Color Palette Box for free plus shipping. You still like the Europa tile but are looking for something a little more romantic and intimate. Maybe sky circles on a midnight background will do the trick.

3. Choose new, custom colors for your Echo Collection cement tile design: Just can’t find the colors you wanted? Show us what you had in mind and we will experiment and run tests. When we think we have narrowed it down to one or two good matches, we typically mail the sample (via DHL or FedEx) to the client for approval. We have had great success with most color matching, but there are certain colors or shades that we are not able to achieve with the available pigments. Note that color matching generally carries an added cost and takes time. Please plan ahead. Many of our clients send us paint chips from Benjamin Moore or Farrow & Ball. Others send us pieces of tile with a good amount of the new color.

4. Choose a new custom design for your custom cement tile: We offer over 140 tile designs to choose from, with more added frequently. However, if you want to create a new design or have us replicate a historic design, we can definitely do that. Each new design mold is made from carefully bent and welded metal, with special supports so the mold does not loose its shape with use. A new custom design mold begins with a precise drawing of the design. The space between lines must be at least .12 inches (3 mm) to enable the pigmented cement to flow to that area. We’ll be happy to work with you to adapt your custom cement tile design to our production process. Here's an example of a custom tile we made for a MARKZEFF designed restaurant, Mercato di Vetro. We started with a scale drawing of the tile and then produced a custom metal mold with which we made the final tiles.
