Hello

You can use the following steps to start Internet on PC using Airtel Mobile GPRS connection:

1. Select Start

2. Go to Control panel

3. Click on Network and Internet Connections

4. Click on Pick a task

5. Click on Create a connection to the network at your workspace.

6. The dialog box will open named New connection Wizard.

7. Select Dial-Up Connection and click on next.

8. Another dialog box will appear named Connection Name

9. You should enter here airtelgprs

10. In the Phone Number enter number as *99***1#

11. Then select put a shortcut on desktop.

12. Then select finish

Now you can click on desktop shortcut named airtelgprs. User name and password must be blank when you want to

connect the internet. Also you need to install full drivers of your phone like usb cable driver, modem drivers in case of

Nokia you can install Nokia PC Suite it will automatically install all the required driver in Windows XP. Enjoy the

internet on PC through Mobile GPRS.

Hello,

You did not mention your mobile model No. I f you are using Nokia cell phone then simply install latest Nokia pc suit.

Connect your phone to your computer via USB cable or Bluetooth.

Wait for sometime to complete the installation of device driver. Click connect to internet, select 'Airtel India' as access

point.

That's it. No need to worry about settings.

Hello Sandeep!

To connect your phone to PC,First of all activate your GPRS plan from your phone in the following steps:

1) From your phone(Nokia or Sony Erriction) dial *567#, then select 'Internet Activation', then choose your plan;

2) after few minutes of activating your plan, you will get the settings of AirTel GPRS. Please save this settings and

restart your phone;

3) Then do the steps as Dinesh explaned. You can use *99# instead of *99***1#;

4) Then you may connect your phone to PC via bluetooth or data cable,for this you have to install drivers,which is

easily available on the internet. In Google search for 'Nokia Connectivity drivers',if you are using Nokia

Phones(Recommended).

Hello Sandeep,

To connect your nokia/samsung/lg or any with the airtel connection you need the following:-

1. PC suite for your phone(nokia PC suite, Samsung,LG,....)

2. usb cable.

3. internet activated in your phone(for airtel dial *567# or recharge with 98 for 1 month)

4. PC

Now, first of all you do following steps

1. Lauch your pc suite.

2. Connect your phone with pc through usb in pc suite mode.

3. Click on the 'connect to internet'option in pc suite and then setting.

4. Select your modem in given list(basically only one modem listed).

5. Select your service provider (here is 'airtel india') in given list of service providers.

6. Then click finish and click on the connect to internet option.

7. Launch web browser and enjoy surfing.

Hello Sandeep,

You have not told about the type of handset and the mode of connection.

You can connect your mobile to P.C by USB or through bluetooth.

For connecting Nokia phones through USB follow these steps

1. Install nokia PC suite which can be downloaded from the oficial nokia web address

http://www.nokia.co.in/support/download-software/nokia-pc-suites

2. Connect your mobile to PC with USB. Then you will ask to select desired mode in mobile. select PC mode.

3. Open your nokia PC suite. You can see your mobile connected.

4. Select connect t o internet option.

5. From there click settings and click the option configure the connection manually.

6. In the next window enter the access point as airtelgprs.com

Dear friend,

For using your phone on pc, you must have install pc suit on your system.

If it is not installed then please install nokia PC suite which can be downloaded from the below address

http://www.nokia.co.in/support/download-software/nokia-pc-suites

After installing PC Suit you can easily connect your phone with PC.

For this you have to open your PC suit application, then select your device connection method,

after successful connecting your device you will get your phone data on PC.

There you can select One Touch Access, it will ask your sevice provider, select your service provider then connect.

It will easily connect you on Internet.
