How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

Music Video

During my music video I had various shots of guitars throughout the entire song, this song is heavily guitar orientated so i wanted to incorporate that into my video. The use of these shots are to show the audience how much of the guitar is incorporated within ‘Obadiah Parkers’ album. I wanted to emphasise how much of the artist is centred in the video, nearly all the shots are of the actor playing and singing. The video also keeps in with the theme of the acoustic artist and the unplugged feel. For this is used Premier Pro.

I very much wanted the theme of guitar throughout the all of my ancillary tasks, i wanted to stick to what i though was the best picture to capture a acoustic listening audience. The inspiration for this piece came from having the idea that other than love most acoustic songs are based around nature, this made me want to add nature to the current guitar theme. The idea that ‘Obadiah Parker’ and his links with nature through his music are represented here in this combination of a guitar and the tree. For this I Adobe Photoshop

CD DigiPak

Sticking with the theme of instruments and primarily the guitar I decided to make my CD cover heavily guitar based. The different shots of guitar parts like the bridge and sound hole in and out of focus adds to the dynamics of the picture. One obvious reason for having the guitars on the front and back, inside and outside covers is to show how much of a guitar based album this is. To produce this is I also used Adobe Photoshop.
