We carried out the necessary repairs and the tanker was then sold, where it has been running virtually trouble free for about 8 years. We recently decided that it would be interesng to try another tanker from this manufacturer and so we purchased this new 36 m/3 model. Although it is compevely priced, we would not have considered this purchase if we had not been enrely happy with the quality of the product. The ZVVZ will soon be entering service and we will be closely monitoring the performance to ensure that the build quality and performance has been maintained over the years. New to the Hire Fleet
Some years ago, we purchased a cement tanker that had been damaged inan accident. It had been manufactured in the Czech Republic by a companycalled ZVVZ and we were very impressed by the quality of the construction.We carried out the necessary repairs and the tanker was then sold, whereit has been running virtually trouble free for about 8 years.
We recently decided that it would be interesting to try another tanker fromthis manufacturer and so we purchased this new 36 m/3 model. Althoughit is competitively priced, we would not have considered this purchase if wehad not been entirely happy with the quality of the product.
The ZVVZ will soon be entering service and we will be closely monitoringthe performance to ensure that the build quality and performance hasbeen maintained over the years.
From time to time we will be issuing a bulletin on the performance to date.

From the StoresWe have now carried out sound level tests on the Arclid Transport tankerwhich we described recently. The average noise level from a tankerdischarging with a power pack is about 85 dba, but with the manyimprovements we have been making to our design, at no point did werecord a reading of 79 dba or over. We used the established convention oftaking readings at 1 and 2 meters from a variety of points around thevehicle. It was also noted that the high pitched squealing noise around thejumper hose at the rear has been virtually eliminated.
When considering that, for every 3 dba of sound emited, the noisedoubles, so when listening to this tanker discharging, the reduction innoise levels is very apparent.
These baskets have been designed to fit insidethe loading hatch to prevent lumps of materialblocking the outlet during discharge. They canbe made from a variety of materials and meshsize to accommodate any material, withstainless steel available for food qualityproducts. These baskets were originally made tomeet the requirements of one customer, but weare now finding applications in other industries.
This picture illustrates the installed basket, theneck seal rests on the underside of the basketflange and the loading nozzle seals against theupper face of the flange
With the ever increasing Healthand Safety requirements being putin place, these access ladders areproving to be extremely usefulwhen tank top access is required.Even when there is a ladder andplatform on the tanker, this ladderis a more secure form of access.

As a follow-up to the note we made recently on this subject, the list belowillustrates the opportunities that there are to wrongly specify acomponent in the p.t.o kit.
With the current, highly sophisticated engine management systems, anyincompatibility of parts will mean that the engine management systemcan not be set up properly. This will lead to problems which will be difficultand expensive to rectify. If you speak to John Robinson on 07813 968055he will be able to give you expert guidance on the subject.
