How did you attract/address your

audience?

We attracted our audience by making a film that we knew would appeal to the

target audience, and made sure it fitted the correct conventions. Our target

audience was woman aged around seventeen to twenty-seven years old. As we

fit into that category we knew what would appeal to us, so therefore we had a

greater understanding of what to include in our two minute film opening.

After completing our film opening I showed it to two seventeen year olds, who

fit into our target audience category. Their feed back is on the next page.

2. Did you enjoy the film opening?

Yes I did, as I haven't seen a storyline like it before.

3. Would you class it in the ‘Romantic’ genre?

Yes, due to the fact it covers the main conventions of that genre.

4. How would you improve it?

I would try and perfect the American accent.

5. Would you watch the entire film?

I would because I want to see what happens to the couple, and why an old lady is looking through an old scrapbook.

6. Do you believe that the target audience we chose (17-27 year old women) was appropriate to address this film to?

I think that it is a suitable age range as younger children may be put of by things such as kissing and not understand the

Yes as it is the type of genre I would watch.

I would say yes, because it appears about a boy and girl in love,

which is what you expect to see in a romantic film.

4. How would you improve it?

I would have filmed it in a more variety of locations.

5. Would you watch the entire film?

It looks like the type of film I would watch, so yes.

6. Do you believe that the target audience we chose (17-27 year old women) was appropriate to address this film to?

I think that sixteen years olds would probably watch it so therefore I would lower the age by one year but apart form that I

agree it is an appropriate target audience
