This 18- hour's course provides hotel security staff at the security officer ad supervisor levels with a firm understanding of the principles of hotel security TARGET AUDUIENCE • Hotel security officers. • Security supervisors. • Hotel staff with security as part of their function • Reception staff. COURSE CONTENTS • Security Officers in a hotel. • Types of crimes associated with hotels. • Crime prevention strategies. • Dealing with emergencies, including bomb threats. • Security Standards. • Developing security staff. • Risk losses, preventive methods, and evaluations. • Dealing with people. • Motivation • Security of Information ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION Training methodology consists of: A combination of stimulating lectures, demonstrations, films, individual and group exercises, and group discussions. Participants need to be able to communi- cate in English, however the course can be delivered by bi-language. Assessment is based on attendance, group participation, and class exercises. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded a certificate in “HOTEL SECURITY” COURSE DURATION • Mode A: Three days, 6 hours/day. • Mode B: One week 3 hours /day. • Mode C: At any time. COURSE FEES BD 1600 for a group of 8 participants. (BD 200 per participants not less than 5 trainees.) covering tuition, documentation, registration, refreshment and snacks.
