Horizon 2020 Eastern Partnership (EaP) Information Day
How Can the National Contact Points Support You? Dr. Tatyana Lyadnova,
Member of the IDEAL-ICT network, ICT NCP, Belarus
Baku, 13 November 2014
• The network of National Contact Points (NCPs) is the main structure to provide guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in Horizon 2020.
• National Contact Points are the national structures established and financed by governments of the 28 EU member states and the states associated to the framework programme.
• NCPs are established in ICPC (third) countries as well – and in the EECA region
• A system of National Contact Points has been established for Horizon 2020, building on the experience of previous Framework Programmes.
Mission • Highly professional support services operating nationally will form an
essential component of Horizon 2020 implementation. By spreading awareness, giving specialist advice, and providing on-the-ground guidance, they will ensure that the new programme becomes known and readily accessible to all potential applicants, irrespective of sector or discipline.
