RAW Photos

Since I took my photos in RAW I had to use a converter to transfer them into jpeg.

I used one by Canon which also includes an editing panel similar to Lightroom. I used Lightroom afterwards for some

of the images that needed more editing.

This photograph was taken on aperture priority. I didn’t make the aperture too high or too low. I still wanted to background to be seen and not too blurred out. I like the contrast between the bright pink flowers and the lush green background.

I used a high aperture to take this photograph because I wanted all the focus to be on the insect.

For this photograph I used a fast shutter speed because the dragonfly was moving around a lot.

I don’t know why the quality is so poor in this photo.

For this photo I used aperture priority and made the aperture low so that the whole image would be in focus.

I also used symmetry.

This flower was really delicate and I wanted it to be separated from the background which is why I used a medium aperture.

• Use of lines • Horizontal lines are calming• Vertical lines are strong• Diagonal lines are dynamic

• I took this photo at the Olympic Square in HK Park

This photograph was taken using a fast shutter speed on shutter priority. If I took this photo on manual I would have adjusted the aperture to make it lower so that the whole image would be in focus.

This photograph was taken the same way as the previous one.

It was taken using a fast shutter speed on shutter priority. If I took this photo on manual I would have adjusted the aperture to make it lower so that the whole image would be in focus.

I took this photograph using a very high aperture.

I found the pattern and colour on this flower very interesting which is why I decided to take such an extreme close up shot.

I took this photo because I liked how the light was hitting the tree and turning it into a silhouette on camera. I kneeled down and looked up at the sky
