Monday Write your diary entry, include what you have been doing, learning, enjoying and how you are feeling. Using, ‘Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check’, write your spelling words in your best handwriting. Tuesday Sumdog- Grammar to start.Speech Marks today. Use any books or newspapers and find speech marks. Copy the sentences with speech into your own jotter, including all punctuation marks especially the comma.
Wednesday
Story writing. Choose any book from either website and rewrite part of it with your own character. Try to keep to the same style as the author. Include some sketches too. Is there speech in your story? Remember all capital letters and all punctuation marks.
Thursday Use active spelling patterns to revise for your spelling test tomorrow. Your reading strategy challenge is scanning for information. P3 See the first passage below about Roald Dahl and P4 the second.
