FAITH DEVELOPMENT
Liturgy
Lots of our Faith involves us in sharing our faith together as a
community at home, in church and at school. Motherwell Diocese have
prepared a children’s liturgy for each week while it’s more difficult to celebrate faith together. Here is
the link for this week.

AT THE MOVIES
Movie Maker!
Create your own mini movie using the slow-motion feature on a mobile phone
camera. You can make a really effective film by using the ‘Video’
function to record an ordinary event in slow-motion. Here are some ideas:
Pouring liquid into a container
Liquids mixing together (eg cordial/diluting juice and
water)
Dominoes, cards or blocks tumbling
Dropping an object (safely) into water eg a ball or
penny into a jar of water – anything that will make a
splash!

Baking Challenge
Have fun with the baking challenge idea attached
below. 😊
KINDNESS and EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING
We look forward to times when we can be with our friends and family and move around more freely. But
it’s important to find some positive experiences in the here and now.
This week, why not begin a ‘Little Pot of Positivity’
Take a little jar, tub or box. Inside, put a little note of
anything you have achieved during Lockdown.
Any achievement, big or small is important. Just fill your jar as you think of things and add to it when you can. You don’t need to think of everything all at once.
You could even design or decorate your container by yourself to make
it really personal.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Physical Fitness:Joe Wicks does an excellent and
free workout at 9am every weekday! Catch him by going to
YouTube and searching for “PE with Joe” or you could try ‘Jumpstart Jonny’ for a fun and energized
workout. He often includes fun and game elements too. He’s live on
youtube at 9 am each day.
Dance: Oti Mabuse does a great Dance Class at 11:30 each day live
on youtube. These classes are saved so that you can watch them at any time. They are for boys and girls, are simple to follow and have
fun themes like ‘The Greatest Showman’. ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Jungle
Book’
Staying Physically fit doesn’t have to involve really long activities.
Over the next couple of weeks, try some ‘Fitness Blasts’ (see below). They are effective and great fun! 😊
