10:30–11:10 a.m. Next Steps Presentation — Student Union BallroomHow do students successfully make the transition to UMass Amherst? This presentation will introduce the New Students Orientation (NSO) program, Residential Academic Programs (RAPs), and Residential Life and how they play a key role in the success of our students.

11:10–11:30 a.m. Break — Student Union BallroomStand up, stretch your legs, and speak with representatives from New Student Orientation (NSO), Residential Academic Programs (RAPs), Residential Life, and Civic Engagement for Student Success.

11:30 a.m.–Noon Student Panel — Student Union Ballroom

12:15–12:45 p.m. Academic Mock Class (Students Only) — Integrative Learning Center

Students will be guided to an academic classroom and participate in an interdisciplinary mock academic class with a UMass Amherst faculty member.

Parent Services Presentation (Parents and Family Members) — Student Union Ballroom

Parents and family members will remain in the Student Union Ballroom for a presentation from Parent Services.

Students and family members will be reunited in front of the Student Union after separate sessions conclude.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS 1–4 p.m. Lunch

Noon–4 p.m. Recreation Center Tours — Recreation CenterLearn about the center’s recreational and student development opportunities, programs, services, and facilities. Tours depart from the member services desk.
