Seller Insight“When we moved into Holcot House 25 years ago, we didn’t realise that we were also buying into a community,” say Jeremy and Gilly. “The village of Bampton is extremely friendly, and everyone who comes here ends up being a part of village life.

Everyone loves living here and even though we are moving home we are going to stay within the village.”

All of the houses in the area are unique, and ours has room for a family with the four bedrooms, but we have lived here as a couple and used the extra space for our musical interests. The previous owners had completely renovated the house, so we didn’t need to make many changes over the years. We have added a new kitchen recently, and also added new flooring in the sitting room,”

“We love all the downstairs rooms, as they are all different in shape and character. The sitting room at the front of the house has an impressive fireplace and exposed beams. We also much enjoy the light double height dining room, which was one of the parts that we fell in love with when first looking around the house.”
