The owner of this cemetery, best known as ''White Sulphur," is not known. There are twenty-seven marked graves and four unmarked graves.· Two stones have broken and are on the ground. The earliest marked grave is LUTHER McLEOD BIGGS, died November 19, 1882. General condition of cemetery is very good and is kept clean. Cemetery is located on Raeford, Red Springs road (State Highway 211 ), about one-half mile from village of Antioch. There was once a Methodist church at this place. Church moved to Duffy Station.

Bethel Cemetery, Raeford, N. C., ie owned by Bethel Presbyterian Church. There are 111 marked graves and 22 unmarked graves. The earliest marked grave is Mary c. Leach, died October 19, 1881. Previous to this members ware buried in private cemeteries often near residence. Cemetery grounds need to be cleaned off and several graves need attention. This cemetery ie located about five miles from Raeford on the Raeford - Laurinburg highway, U. S. 15 A. You reach it immediately as you turn to left at the road sign marked Bethel Church.

Murdoch McLeod Family Plot
This cemetery is located near Raeford, N. c. Drive out from Raeford toward Aberdeen on highway #112. At the Jim Thomas farm, turn to left on turnpike road, drive a bout four miles on that road until you come to field owned by E. B. McNeill, opposite a pine grove. The graves are located in this field. This family plot contains the graves of Murdoch McLeod and his three children. There is an unmarked grave, probably the wife of Murdoch McLeod. It is said that these deaths were caused by typhoid fever, and the first graves were made at night on account of fear of the Indians. (1819).

Philippi Cemetery (Formerly called McCaskill)
This is the cemetery of the Philippi Presbyterian Church, and both church and cemetery are located near Raeford. Turn off from Highway #15A at View Point Service Station just east of Raeford. Drive country road to Dundee farm. Church can be seen from this farm. Land given by Allen McCaskill for church and cemetery purposes. Some gr!!ves on this location long before Mr, McCaskill donated the land. Condition, very neglected. Many unmarked graves.

This cemetery is on the Raeford - Red Springs Highway about 10 miles from Raeford and about 2 miles from Red Springs. It can be seen from the highway tO" the right as you go from Raeford to Red Springs. The earliest marked ·grave is 1825. The owners of this cemetery are unknown. Briers and undergrowth are so thick in this cemetery that it is almost impossible for one to enter.
