Ratings - IMDb• IMDb
– web site where if you register (free) you may rate any film on the site. Thousands do. The overall rating appears there.
– another site I view is IMDbPro (cost $20 per month) it gives ratings by gender and demographic, distributor (license??)
– Example: Like Water for Chocolate (Mexico) 1992, Rated: 7.2• overall vote 7.2, males - 7.1, females -7.6• US votes - 7.3• Non US - 7.1• Highest rating given by females is age group 45+ at: 7.9• Lowest rating, given by males is age group under 18: 6.1• All this gives me idea how interested an audience may be and for which
demographic the film has widest appeal.
Ratings - Rotten Tomatoes
• This web site is also free, and if you register you may vote for films here as well
• Audience rating and critics rating average.
