The Computer's Ancestors• The Burroughs adding machine was a

contraption which printed out columns of numbers and dates

• In the very beginning of computer technology, there were two computer concepts and a computer built, the Analytical and Difference engine

• In June, 1948, the first modern computer (named Baby) came up with the right answer on the display.
