Service Charge & Tax: All Food & Beverage, Room Rental and Audio/Visual Equipment
prices are subject to a 22% Service Charge in addition to all state and local taxes.
Guarantee: Final menu selections should be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the function
to ensure the availability of the desired menu items.
A final confirmation of attendance or “Guarantee” is required by 1:00pm 10 business days prior to
the function and this final count may not be reduced. If the guaranteed attendance increases by
more than 5% less than 72 hours prior to the function, the Hotel reserves the right to charge a
10% surcharge on menu prices.
Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 and completed Credit Card Authorization Form is
due upon execution of Group Agreement. The remaining estimated amount is due 10 business
days prior to Group Arrival Date. If final payment is not received, the credit card on file will be
charged the remaining balance, otherwise Hotel will release all space holds and/or room blocks.
Liquor Regulations: Per Hilton Garden Inn licensing agreement with the SC State Liquor
Commission, guests and patrons are not permitted to enter or depart the premises with any
alcoholic beverages or to carry or consume alcoholic beverages in any hallways, restrooms or
public areas. Please be advised that we reserve the right to refuse alcohol to anyone. At no time
will anyone under the age of 21 consume alcohol and we reserve the right to check identification.
Food & Beverage: No food or beverage from outside sources may be brought into any hotel
function room by the patron, guest of the patron or attendees. If food or beverage is still brought
in without prior approval by management, a $1,000 fee will be charged to the master account. All
prices are subject to change without notice in accordance with increasing food, beverage or
operating expenses.
Decorations: Hotel does not set up or provide any function decorations with the exception of
tables, chairs, black table linens, black linen napkins, china, silverware and glassware. Hotel has
the right to review and approve any decorations, advertisement or promotional materials in
connection with the function that specifically reference any name or logo of the Hotel, its location
or franchise. Signage (e.g. banners, materials, posters, signs, literature, or other decorations) is
prohibited and may not be permitted on Hotel property (e.g. meeting or guest room walls, floors,
ceilings, and/or other property) without written permission from Hotel management team.
Confetti or glitter of any kind is strictly prohibited. Candles must be properly contained. Any
damage to Hotel property or deep cleaning will be the financial responsibility of the Group and
will be charged accordingly.
Cancellation: Cancellation policy as stated in the signed contract will result in a cancellation fee:
60 days to 31 days prior to Arrival Date: 25% of Total Minimum Revenue
30 days to 15 days prior to Arrival Date: 50% of Total Minimum Revenue
14 days or less prior to Arrival Date: 100% of Total Minimum Revenue
