2019 | SEPTEMBER ADeC’s Updates 1/2 Highlight AKRI 2019: UM won first prize in Alternative Asessment category Highlight Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Migration and Development Workshop 20 & 21 September 2019 | Nilai Springs Resort Hotel, Negeri Sembilan In this two-day workshop, developers of UM MOOCs learned and create MOOC contents on the FutureLearn platform, assisted by Dr. Zahiruddin, Dr. Shahril Nizam (Faculty of Education), Madam Wan Nabilah and Madam Fatin Hazirah (PTM). ADeC would like to congratulate Professor Dr. Thong Meow Keong (Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine) and his team as they won first place in Alternative Assessment category in Anugerah Khas YB Menteri Pendidikan Malaysia: Rekabentuk Kurikulum Dan Penyampaian Inovatif (AKRI) 2019. Prof. Thong and his team won with their project "The use of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) as an alternative assessment tool for entry into Paediatrics postgraduate training programme in Malaysia". ADeC would also like to thank and congratulate all 11 applications from Universiti Malaya for AKRI 2019! We hope these achievements will inspire UM academicians to send their applications for the next AKRI.
